LineTale

Stories you can walk through

Interactive timelines that turn narrative and historical data into living, explorable chronologies — built to be embedded anywhere.

Visit LineTale
  • Embeddable runs inside any site
  • Edge server-rendered
  • Data-driven timelines and maps

LineTale is for stories that are better understood as a shape than as a page — histories, investigations, campaigns, anything where the order and the distance between events is the point.

It renders narrative and historical data as timelines and maps that a reader can move through, and it is built so a story can leave its own site: an embeddable player carries the full experience into someone else’s page without asking them to host anything.

Server-rendered from the edge so a story loads quickly wherever it is opened from.

Desktop and mobile builds are done and waiting on release. The discipline that lets the player embed inside somebody else’s page is the same one that makes those shells cheap to add — the renderer never assumed it was living in a browser tab.
